You only notice an order marked “Review required” by opening its details. You can filter the order list in the Shopify admin down to those orders.
(1) Open Orders in the Shopify admin
Go to Shopify admin → Orders.
(2) Select Search and filter above the order list
The screen for adding filter conditions opens.
(3) Select Cumulative purchase limits status from the filter options
This is the metafield that cumulative purchase limits writes to the order.
Prerequisite: This metafield is only named in English, as “Cumulative purchase limits status”. There is no localized label.
(4) Select manual_review_required as the metafield value
Only orders marked “Review required” remain in the list.
Value | Meaning |
|---|---|
manual_review_required | Review required (the order is waiting to be checked) |
manual_review_resolved | Recorded with “Mark as action taken” or “Mark as no action needed” |
Orders that do not need review have no value. Not every order that was counted gets a value.
Note: Right after you enable cumulative purchase limits, Shopify is still building the index, so the metafield may not appear among the filter options.
Tip: You can keep the filter with Save as view in the Shopify admin. The app does not create saved views for you.
To handle each order, see “An order is marked ‘Review required’”.
