An order is marked “Review required”

When the Cumulative purchase limits block on an order's details page in RuffRuff Order Limits shows “Review required”, check the reason shown there and record how you handled it. The record is only a record: it does not cancel the order or adjust the customer's total.

There are two reasons: “Over the limit” and “Items that could not be added to the total”.

The block shows the rule name, the item involved (when the rule counts per product or per variant), and the limit and total used for the check. You can open the rule's details in the app from the rule name.

The limit used for the check is the rule's value at the time the order was counted. Changing the rule's limit later does not change what the block shows.

The block lists the items that could not be added to the total. This appears when the customer's breakdown is at its cap of 250 entries.

For rules that cover many products, split them into several rules by series or set.

• Mark as action taken: Records that you finished handling it manually

• Mark as no action needed: Records that no handling was needed

• Return to review required: Undoes a record you made by mistake

Once recorded, the block shows the date and time and the user who recorded it.

Canceling an order subtracts that order's quantity or amount from the total, but the “Review required” record stays. Only actions in this block change it to reviewed.
